Staying Connected During the C-19 Crisis

by Rob Silvia, Branch Services, Fonville Morisey Realty a Long & Foster Company

Most of us are in uncharted territory as we navigate our way through containing the COVID-19 spread. The Internet and tech companies are making it possible for Fonville Morisey to continue to support our communities, clients, and each other as we battle the outbreak.

Fonville Morisey Realty is relying on some tech giant companies, and some lesser known companies to ensure we can do our job. I wanted to let you know about a few of these companies are offering access to these great tools FREE, and you too, can take advantage of them.

Zoom: Zoom allows us to bring face-to-face meetings with each other, and groups. It offers free one-on-one meetings with no time limit, or a free hosted meeting of many with a 40-minute time limit. Check out their blog page here.

Google: Google has been a player in this arena for years, and Hangouts let you stay connected to up to 150 people from anywhere in the world. Here’s a pointer to Hangouts for Android users, and you Apple iDevice users can check it out here.

Microsoft: Microsoft Teams is part of their Office 365 offering, and Microsoft has graciously made Teams available to everyone during this time via a freemium version. Check out their blog page here. If you subscribe to Office 365 you already have Teams, and if you have an Email address like Outlook or Gmail, you can sign up at this link.

Keep the faith everyone! Continue to be smart and heed the warnings and advice. Tools like these make it easier to keep in touch with family, friends and clients. We’re likely going to be doing this for quite a while yet, so please take advantage of tools like these to safely and effectively communicate with each other. #stopthespread
