Throughout 2013, we’ve witnessed numerous articles detailing various reasons why the Triangle is the place to be. With each article of recognition, its usually followed by a positive piece of news about the housing market as well further proving Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding communities is the area many are choosing to hang their hat and lay down some roots. Over the last couple of months this hasn’t changed either. Since our last article on this topic, The Triangle has received several new accolades and in case you’re losing track, we’ve compiled a few of them below.

Several Triangle area companies made the list including Durham’s Bronto Software, Garner’s Wingswept, Raleigh’s O2 Fitness, and FastMed Urgent Care in Clayton.

Duke University Corporate Education Ranked #1 for the Sixth Consecutive Year
Duke University’s reputation as a whole is well-established academically and athletically, but did you know that the University’s Corporate Education program is also top notch? Companies utilize this program to, among other things, help them embed learning into the day-to-day business environment. Whether you own a company in the Triangle or are employed by one, higher education opportunities at an executive level are available through this prestigious Duke University program. Companies around the world know this, which is why this program ranked higher than that of other exceptional universities. Kudos to you Duke for retaining your ranking!
Raleigh Tops List for Dog Friendly Cities in America
As compiled by PetCareRx, our southern city ranks the highest for how we treat and value our family pooch! The website lists several factors including our 3 dog parks, 23 dog-friendly restaurants and 31 do-friendly hotels among the many reasons why Raleigh is a great place to care for your four-legged friend. Our Wake County SPCA is also host/beneficiary to special events throughout the year, including last weekend’s Santa Paws 5K event. So, if you’re got a pooch, Raleigh is the place to lay his/her head too!
