THIS Sunday, September 23rd join the fun and festivities at the 1st Annual Midtown Barks & Recreation event presented by Woof Gang Bakery & the Midtown Raleigh Alliance along with many sponsors, including our own Sheri Hagerty of Sheri Hagerty Realty Group and Fonville Morisey -Inside the Beltline Office.
As you can see there are a myriad of FUN events for the whole family…including “Fido”, all of which benefiting the SPCA of Wake County. We asked Sheri how she got involved in this event and why it was important to her. This is what she had to say -
I adopted my adorable dog “Jax” from the SPCA in June. We got him as a surprise for my 8 year old son, McCabe. Jax is part Border Collie, part Australian Shepherd and one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. This cause is very dear to my heart.
I have always supported the SPCA; my dad is a Professor at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been there for over 30 years, so I love animals and grew up with all kinds. For these reasons, and being on the Midtown Raleigh Alliance Advisory Board, I felt like this was something I wanted to be involved in to continue the growth and support of Midtown, as well as promote my real estate business through something I believe in!!

Two members of the Midtown Raleigh Alliance joined the hosts of NBC 17′s My Carolina Today for an interview earlier this week raising awareness for the Barks & Recreation event too.
