Congratulations to Fonville Morisey Youngsville for their BIG collection of 121lbs for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina as part of our “Christmas in July” food drive for their Kids Summer Stock Program!
As Brian Pate, VP and Sales Manager says -
“This is a monumental effort and for an equally monumental challenge – to help provide nourishment to the children in our community who typically receive at least one nutritional meal a day throughout the school year thanks to the free and reduced lunch programs offered by our local schools. We know that the donations we bring in will go to help the 34 counties the Food Bank serves, including Wake, Franklin, and Granville counties. We are happy to contribute to and support this effort.”
These empty shelves at the Food Bank CENC Branch in Raleigh represent how quickly their supply is distributed. All the more reason to support the Kids Summer Stock program.
