One of the things that make our Fonville Morisey family so wonderful is the things we do for our community. Each office takes on its own initiatives to give back to their respective communities in some way. Our Preston office partners with the Fine Arts League of Cary, our Highway 54 office in Durham recently donated to Agape Corner boarding school, just to name a couple.

Our Fonville Morisey Inside The Beltline (or ITB) office delivered 17 Christmas dinners to families at the Hope Elementary Charter School located on Blount St in downtown Raleigh last week. As the Blount St Commons neighborhood (located within close proximity to our offices) continues its revitalization and since we have several members of the ITB team with backgrounds in education, we felt this was the perfect organization to partner with. Hope Elementary Charter School’s motto is –

“Changing the World One Child at a Time”

100% of the contributions were made by ITB team members with many local vendors and grocers also donating products at little to no cost to help provide plentiful Christmas meals for families.

“In June, our office served breakfast to the children at Hope on the morning of their End of Grade (EOG) tests. From that moment on, our hearts were captured! When the subject of this year’s Christmas community service project came up, the choice was obvious!”

Pictured in the video below are Amy Butler, Stuart Deibel, John English, Susan Johnston, Karen Smith, Suzanne Burton, Barbara Postma, Cindy & Lewis Penny, and Richard Parker from FM ITB as well as Hope Elementary Charter School’s Principal, Richard Rubin and two of his staff.

Thanks to our photographer extraordinaire, Stuart Deibel for capturing the joy and to the following vendors for their assistance in this project:

Harris Teeter in Stonehenge and at North Hills in Raleigh

Kroger on Six Forks in Raleigh

SPECIAL THANKS to our ITB Team for their contribution to this effort. Our office aims to give back to our community and YOU helped make it possible!
