This past Saturday morning with the sun shining and a bit of a chill in the air, the Triangle kicked off the holiday season with the annual Raleigh Christmas Parade organized by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association.
Our own Veneta Ford Group in Garner sponsored a float in the parade and on it carried Veneta herself, Veneta Ford Group’s Cindy Johnson-Brown, and Fonville Morisey Vandora Sales Manager, Leah Isadore as well as several representatives, friends, and family.
In addition, the Carolina Ballet paraded down the route in costume for their upcoming rendition of the Nutcracker while holding THE TALLEST balloon in the Parade!
We venture to guess that among the thousands in attendance, there were many who were there to see Garner’s own American Idol, Scotty McCreery as he floated down the route on his very own float as the Grand Marshall of the 2011 Parade.
